Hi! I am Alex “Shew” Raymond. I am a protoss player from the United States currently residing in Southern California. I am currently not on any team, and was on Lazarus Gaming all the way up until we disbanded. I started my e- sports career playing Warcraft III, but I was a huge fan of the Starcraft: Broodwar scene. While I didn't really accomplish much in Warcraft III, it helped me build a RTS mindset and my mechanics which I think have served me greatly in Starcraft 2. I feel that my strengths are strong mechanics, multitasking, and having a solid strategic mindset all-throughout the game.
I've also coached sports (Lacrosse and Baseball). I plan to teach my students not only these traits but everything else that comes along with learning to play an RTS like game sense, building your speed (apm), and many other necessities to excel in a competitive game like Starcraft 2. I offer a unique learning experience with solid builds and mechanics. I feel that just having solid mechanics and a smart game plan can get you far in Starcraft 2, and it also makes building everything else about your game-play easier. I'll give you the tools to help you also learn on your own. Please come to the lessons with an idea in what you want to improve about your game and with replays and questions. This is your time, so let's make the most out of it! :)
